The Invigorating Start of 2016
Hey there and welcome to 2016! We have so much to look forward to and I am grateful to have made it another year with the friends, family and clients I adore! The transitional feeling of January always has me feeling like we need a fresh, clean slate of goals and aspirations. I'm looking forward to helping with your hair and skin goals for 2016! That being said, I want to kick off the new year with a review of a product that has quickly become a favorite of mine! I browse Instagram quite often, but really, who doesn't? It's great for checking out trends, scoping out businesses in the area and connecting with people all over the world! On my recent Insta-stalking, I found Dope Daydreamer Organics' Aubrey's Instagram! You can find her Insta here and her Etsy here! What really drew my attention right from the get go, on her bio reads "Made in Maine" and "100% vegan and cruelty free." That being said, I purchased the 4 oz - Organic Orange Lavender Sugar Scrub Exfoliant and lemme tell you, this is a treasure from the skin care gods! As soon as you open the adorable little mason jar, the sweet aroma of organic orange and lavender soothes your shnozz immediately. The scrub itself gave me the right amount of exfoliation and took out the 2 days worth of sleeping with makeup on clean off my face! After I rinsed and dried my skin, the scrub left it supple and radiant. Almost like the shame was off my face, I really felt it! The next morning, my makeup went on smooth and my face was absolutely thanking me for the pampering and happy to take a new days worth stuff on my face! Here's a photo direct from her Etsy!
Oh yes! As a bonus, you receive some goodies with each order! I got a sample of her Multipurpose Skin and Hair cream and Peppermint lip balm! My husband steals the lip balm all the time and the cream really helps my cracked hands from the winter dryness. I definitely give her products 5 stars and will definitely purchase more in the future! Thanks for reading, I hope y'all had a wonderful start to 2016, but remember, the best is yet to come! Here's to a new year of fabulous goals made and achieved!
